101. Engine flywheel.

The clutch consists of a group of driving parts, a driven disc, and an actuation system. The clutch housing is made integral with the manual transmission housing.

The clutch housing is made integral with the manual transmission housing.

The pressure plate and diaphragm spring are installed in a steel stamped

clutch cover. The cover is bolted to the flywheel. The driving friction surfaces

of the flywheel and pressure plate are ground.

The driven disc has a splined hub that is installed on the input shaft

of the transmission so that it can move axially. The splined

connection between the driven disc and input shaft transmits engine torque. The driven disc is clamped between the flywheel and pressure plate

by the clutch diaphragm spring.

The actuation system includes the clutch pedal, cable, lever shaft, fork, and release bearing.

When the clutch pedal is pressed, the cable pulls the external lever of the shaft and rotates the shaft with the fork fixed to it.

The fork arms move the release bearing and act on the diaphragm spring fingers.

This disengages the clutch.
