IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Models
In this manual: IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
~1min read
FCA US LLC recommends towing the vehicle with all four wheels off the ground using a flatbed.
If the transmission and driveline are in good condition, All-Wheel Drive models may also be towed. With the ignition in the ON/RUN mode and the transmission in NEUTRAL (not PARK!), the rear wheels off the ground, there are no speed or distance restrictions. The ignition MUST be in the ON/RUN mode to tow in this manner. All-Wheel Drive vehicles must be towed with ALL FOUR wheels off the ground (for example, on a flatbed truck) if the key fob is not available.
- Towing this vehicle by any other method may cause serious transmission and/or transfer case damage.
- Damage caused by improper towing is not covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
