IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
JACK AND TIRE REPLACEMENT
In this manual: IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
~1min read
- Do not attempt to change a tire on the traffic side of the vehicle. Move well away from the road to avoid being struck by traffic while raising the jack or changing the wheel.
- Getting under a raised vehicle is dangerous. The vehicle may slip off the jack and fall on you. You could be crushed. Never place any part of your body under a vehicle supported only by a jack. If you must get under a raised vehicle, take it to a service center where it can be raised on a lift.
- Never start or run the engine while the vehicle is supported by a jack.
- The jack is designed for use only as a tire changing tool. Do not use the jack to raise the vehicle for service purposes. Raise the vehicle only on a firm, level surface. Avoid icy or slippery areas.
