  • fit the new blade by inserting the tab into the seat on the arm, making sure it locks in place;
  • lower the wiper arm onto the windscreen.

Replacing the Rear Wiper Blade

Proceed as follows:

  • lift cover A fig. 133, unscrew nut B and remove arm C;
  • correctly position the new arm, fully tighten nut B, then lower cover A.

Washer Jets

Windscreen Washer

The windscreen washer jets can be adjusted by turning the slot on their side with a screwdriver. If no fluid comes out, first check that there is fluid in the windscreen washer reservoir (see the "Checking the levels" section in this chapter). Then check that the outlet holes are not blocked; if necessary, clear them using a pin.

Rear Window Washer

The rear window washer jets are fixed. The jet body is located above the rear window.

WARNING 169) Driving with worn windscreen/rear wiper blades is a serious risk, as it reduces visibility in bad weather. WARNING 64) Do not operate the wipers with the blades lifted off the windscreen.
