Tyre Rotation Advice

The front and rear tyres are subjected to different loads and stresses due to steering, manoeuvring and braking. For this reason, they wear unevenly.

To counter this, the tyres can be rotated at the appropriate time. This operation is recommended for tyres with pronounced tread, suitable for both on-road and off-road driving.

Rotating the tyres helps maintain grip and traction on wet, muddy or snowy roads, ensuring the vehicle remains perfectly manoeuvrable.

If the tyres show abnormal wear, the cause must be identified and corrected before rotating the tyres.

WARNING 171) Do not cross-rotate the tyres when fitting "directional" tyres.

In this case, always take care not to fit the tyres in the opposite direction of rotation to that indicated: you risk losing grip and control of the vehicle.

172) Driving with partially or completely deflated tyres can create safety problems and irreparably damage the affected tyre. WARNING 65) The vehicle's road holding also depends on correct tyre inflation pressure.

66) Tyre pressure that is too low causes the tyre to overheat, with the risk of serious damage to the tyre.

67) Do not swap tyres crosswise, i.e. moving them from the right side of the vehicle to the left and vice versa.

68) Do not refinish alloy wheels using processes that require temperatures above 150 °C. The mechanical properties of the wheels may be compromised.
