The battery does not need distilled water added to the electrolyte. However, periodic inspection by an authorised Fiat dealer is required to ensure the battery performs properly.

WARNING A battery kept for a long period at a state of charge below 50% will sulphate, its capacity will drop and, as a result, its ability to start the vehicle.
