HG SPECIFIC TEST: POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV) SYSTEM
Introduction

Normal Operation and Fault Symptoms

Refer to DTC Fault Trigger Conditions.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

Trouble Code Description Fault Trigger Condition
PCM P04DB:00 Positive Crankcase Ventilation System Inoperative: No Sub-type Information Set when the PCM detects that the crankcase pressure sensor is disconnected. Check the PCV system for integrity.
PCM P2282:00 Air Leak Between Throttle Body and Intake Valves, Bank 1: No Sub-type Information Set when the PCM detects an air leak that exceeds the calibrated limit for more than 5 seconds. If the airflow entering the engine exceeds the airflow passing through the throttle, a leak is detected and this diagnostic fails. Check the PCV system for integrity. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) System for additional information.
