Removal

1. 1
   Remove the front bumper cover.
   Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).
2. 2
   Remove the screws and move the headlamp assembly forward.
   Torque: 42 lb-in (4.8 N·m)

   

3. 3
   Disconnect the headlamp electrical connector and remove the headlamp assembly.

   

Installation

1. 1
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. 2
   Adjust the headlamp assembly.
   Refer to: Headlamp Aiming (417-01 Exterior Lighting, General Procedures).

Vehicles without a HCM (Headlamp Control Module).

3. Using the diagnostic scanner, perform the command "BCM > New LIN Module Initialization" subroutine. Follow the diagnostic scanner instructions.
