Removal

All vehicles

  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.
    Refer to: Liftgate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Back-Up Lamp Assembly

    1. Disconnect the back-up lamp electrical connector.
    1. Remove the back-up lamp nuts.
      Torque: 28 lb-in (3.2 N·m)
    1. Carefully pull the back-up lamp away from the vehicle, releasing the pin retainer. Remove the back-up lamp assembly.

Back-up lamp bulb

  1. Remove and install the back-up lamp bulb socket from the back-up lamp assembly.
  2. Remove the back-up lamp bulb.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
