Interior trim removal tool

Removal

Rear lamps mounted on the liftgate

1. 1
   Remove the liftgate trim panel.
   Refer to: Liftgate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

   Remove the rear lamp assembly from the liftgate.
   

   1. Disconnect the rear lamp assembly electrical connector.

   2. Remove the nuts, then pull outward to release the clip and remove the rear lamp assembly from the liftgate.
      Torque: 55 lb-in (6.2 N·m)

   

Rear lamps mounted on the rear side panel

   Remove the left cargo area trim panel.
   Refer to: Cargo Area Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

   Release the wire retainer and disconnect the rear lamp assembly electrical connector.

   Using a non-marring tool, remove the screw cover cap.
   Use common equipment: interior trim removal tool.

   Remove the rear lamp retaining screw.
   Torque: 28 lb-in (3.2 N·m)

   

5. 5
   Carefully pull the rear lamp assembly outward and out of the vehicle. Remove the rear lamp assembly.

   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
