For routine cleaning, wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap and water solution. Wipe the area with a clean, soft cloth.

To clean and remove stains such as ink transfer, use Motorcraft Premium Leather and Vinyl Cleaner or a commercially available automotive leather interior cleaner.

You should:

  • Remove dust and loose dirt with a vacuum cleaner.
  • Clean and treat spills and stains as soon as possible.

Do not use the following products, as they may damage the leather:

  • Leather conditioners with an oil, petroleum, or silicone base.
  • Household cleaners.
  • Alcohol-based solutions.
  • Solvents or cleaners designed specifically for rubber, vinyl, and plastic.
