Vehicles without keyless vehicle starting

To engage the steering wheel lock:

  1. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
  2. Turn the steering wheel.

Vehicles with keyless vehicle starting

Note: The steering wheel lock will not engage when the ignition is on or the vehicle is moving.

Your vehicle is fitted with an electronically controlled steering wheel lock. It operates automatically.

The steering wheel lock will engage after a short time if the vehicle has been parked and the keyless key is outside the vehicle.

Releasing the steering wheel lock

Switch on the ignition or: Automatic transmission vehicles

  • Press the brake pedal.

Manual transmission vehicles

  • Press the clutch pedal.
