The SCAN function plays about 5 seconds of each track.

Type 1

Different scan modes are available, depending on the type of CD being played.

1. Press the MENU button and select CD MODE.

2. Select SCAN to turn the function on or off.

Tip: For MP3 CDs, SCAN is available for the whole disc or only for the tracks in the current folder.

3. Press OK to turn scan mode off.

Type 2 and 3

1. Press function button 3.

Tip: For MP3 CDs, SCAN is available for the whole disc or only for the tracks in the current folder. Each press of function button 3 switches between these options.

2. Press function button 3 again to turn scan mode off.
