Turning on traffic information
Before you can receive traffic information, press the TA or TRAFFIC button. The "TA" indicator will appear on the display to show that the function is switched on.
If the radio is already tuned to a station broadcasting traffic information, the "TP" indicator will also appear on the display. Otherwise, the radio will search for a station broadcasting traffic information.
When traffic information is being broadcast, it interrupts normal radio reception or CD playback, and the message "Traffic Announcement (TA)" appears on the display.
If a radio station that does not broadcast traffic announcements is selected or recalled using a preset station button, the audio unit will remain tuned to that station until the TA or TRAFFIC button is switched off and then on again.
Note: If TA is switched on and the driver selects a preset station or manually tunes to a radio station without TA, no traffic announcements will be broadcast.
Note: If the TA button is switched off and then on again while a station without TA is being received, the TP search option will appear.
