WARNINGS

  • Switch the ignition on when the vehicle is being towed. Otherwise the steering wheel will be locked and the turn signals and brake lights will not work.
  • Brake and steering assist does not work when the engine is not running. Press the brake pedal harder and be prepared for a longer braking distance and heavier steering.

NOTES

  • Excessive tension on the tow rope may damage the towed or towing vehicle.

  • Do not connect a rigid towing bar to the front tow hook.

  • Select neutral when towing.

Start off slowly and smoothly, without jerking the towed vehicle.
