Air Delivery Direction to the Instrument Panel Vents

Press and release the button to direct airflow to the instrument panel vents.

Air Delivery Direction to the Footwell Vents

Press and release the button to direct airflow to the footwell vents.

Setting the Fan Speed

Press and release + or - to adjust the volume of air circulating into the vehicle.

Setting the Temperature

Turn the left side climate control knob to set the left side temperature.

Turn the right side climate control knob to set the right side temperature.

Turning Automatic Mode On and Off

Press and release the button to turn on automatic operation, then set the temperature.

The system controls fan speed, air distribution, air conditioning operation, and outside or recirculated air to achieve and maintain the temperature you set.

Turning the Air Conditioning On and Off

Press and release the button to turn the air conditioning on or off.

Use the air conditioning with recirculated air to improve cooling efficiency and fuel economy.

Turning Climate Control On and Off

Press and release the button.

Defrost On and Off

Press and release the button to direct air to the windshield and side window defroster vents.

Air is directed to the instrument panel and footwell vents are turned off. You can also use this setting to prevent fogging and to clear a thin coating of ice from the windshield.

Turning Maximum Air Conditioning On and Off

Press and release the button for maximum cooling.

Sets the left and right temperature to LO, recirculated air is directed through the instrument panel vents, the air conditioning turns on, and the fan speed is set to the highest speed.

Turning Maximum Defrost On and Off

Press and release the button for maximum defrost.

Sets the left and right temperature to HI, air is directed through the windshield vents, and the fan speed is set to the highest speed. You can also use this setting to remove fog and clear a thin layer of ice from the windshield. The rear window defroster also turns on when maximum defrost is selected.

Turning Recirculated Air On and Off

Press and release the button to switch between outside air and recirculated air.

Air in the passenger compartment is currently being recirculated. This can reduce the time needed to cool the cabin when used with the air conditioning, and reduce unwanted odors from entering your vehicle.
