Removal

NOTICE: Do not press, pull or otherwise move the brake pedal during removal or installation of the stop lamp switch. The switch must be installed with the booster pushrod attached to the brake pedal and the brake pedal in the rest position. Installing the switch with the brake pedal in any other position will result in incorrect adjustment and damage to the switch.


  1. Remove the stop lamp switch.
    • Disconnect the stop lamp switch electrical connector.
    • Rotate the stop lamp switch clockwise and remove the switch.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
