Front Fog Lamp Aiming. General Procedures

Activation

   1. Before starting the fog lamp assembly aiming procedure:

   • Check the tire inflation pressures.

   • Make sure there is no cargo in the vehicle other than a half tank of fuel.

   • Make sure the vehicle is on a level surface.

   • Make sure the fog lamps and headlamps are clean.

   • Make sure the headlamps operate and are correctly aimed.

   Park the vehicle on a level surface approximately 7.6 m (24.93 ft) from a vertical wall or screen directly in front of it.

   Correct visual aim of the fog lamps is the top edge of the high-intensity zone 101.6 mm (4 inches) below the horizontal center of the fog lamps.
   

   1. Top edge of the high-intensity zone.

   2. Height of the fog lamp centers.

   3. Vehicle centerline.

   4. 10 cm (4 inches)
