Do not place objects or mounting devices on or near the roof lining at the side rail, to prevent them from contacting the curtain airbags when they deploy. Failure to observe these instructions may increase the risk of personal injury in an accident.
The airbags are mounted above the front and rear side windows.
The airbag is designed to deploy in a severe angled side or frontal impact. It is not designed to deploy in minor side and frontal impacts, rear-end collisions or vehicle rollovers.
