Before driving, fully adjust the headrest. This will minimise the risk of neck injury in a collision. Do not adjust the headrest while the vehicle is moving.
Raise the rear headrest when the rear seat is occupied by a passenger.
When using a forward-facing child restraint on the rear seat, always remove the headrest from that seat.
The headrest is a safety device. Whenever the seat is occupied, the headrest must be fitted and correctly adjusted.
Correct installation of the headrest will minimise the risk of neck injury in a collision.
Note: Return the seatback to the upright position before adjusting the headrest. Adjust the headrest so that its top is level with the top of your head and as far forward as possible. Make sure the position is comfortable. If you are very tall, adjust the headrest to its highest position.
