DANGER
When used correctly, the seat, headrest, seat belt and airbags provide optimal protection in the event of an accident.
Do not recline the seatback excessively, as the occupant could slide under the seat belt, causing serious personal injury in an accident.
Always sit upright, against the backrest and with your feet on the floor.Do not place objects higher than the seatback. Failure to follow this instruction may cause serious or fatal injury in a collision or sudden stop.
It is recommended that you follow these instructions:
- Sit upright, with the base of your spine as far back as possible.
- When reclining the seatback, make sure your torso does not exceed a 30° inclination from the upright position.
- Adjust the headrest so that its top is level with the top of your head and as far forward as possible. Make sure the position is comfortable.
- Keep a sufficient distance between your body and the steering wheel. Leave at least 25 cm between your breastbone and the airbag cover.
- Hold the steering wheel with your arms slightly bent.
- Bend your legs slightly so you can fully press the pedals.
- Position the diagonal and lap parts of the seat belt over the centre of the shoulder and across the hips respectively.
