Adaptive Steering

~1min read

You can set the drive modes when your vehicle is in Drive (D) or Sport (S). The setting is retained until you change it from the main menu of the information display. See General Information (page 89).

Modes:

  • Normal - Factory default setting.
  • Sport - Requires more steering effort; road feedback transmitted through the steering wheel is more intense.

Note: The drive control function has diagnostic checks that continuously monitor the system to ensure correct operation. Certain types of system faults disable mode selection in the information display and prevent you from changing modes when shifting gears. Other types of faults display a temporary message indicating a malfunction. If faults persist over several key cycles, have your vehicle checked by an authorised dealer.
