WARNINGS

  • This system does not relieve you of your responsibility to drive with appropriate attention and care.
  • You are responsible at all times for controlling your vehicle, for monitoring the system and for taking any necessary action.
  • If the sensor is blocked, the system may not function.
  • Take regular breaks when necessary and do not wait for the system to issue an alert if you feel tired.
  • Only take a break when it is safe to do so.
  • Certain driving styles and behaviours at the wheel may cause the system to issue alerts, even if you are not tired.
  • The system may not function in cold weather and in severe weather conditions.
Rain, snow, spray and strong lighting contrasts can affect the sensor.
  • The system does not function if the sensor is unable to track lane markings.
  • The system may not function in roadworks zones.
  • The system may not function on roads with tight bends or lanes that are too narrow.
  • Do not carry out windscreen repairs in the immediate area around the sensor.
  • If your vehicle is fitted with a suspension kit not approved by Ford, the system may not function correctly.
  • Note: Keep the windscreen free of foreign matter such as bird droppings, insects, snow or ice. Note: The system assists you when driving on expressways and motorways. Note: The system calculates an alert level when the vehicle speed is above approximately 65 km/h.

The system automatically monitors your driving behaviour.

The system is designed to warn you if it detects that you are falling asleep or if your driving style is deteriorating.
