Heated seats

WARNING

People whose skin is less sensitive to pain due to advanced age, chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cord injury, medication, alcohol consumption, fatigue or any other physical condition must remain vigilant when using the heated seat. The heated seat can cause burns even at low temperatures, especially if used for extended periods. Make sure not to place insulating materials on the seats, such as a blanket or cushion, as this may cause the seat heater to overheat. Make sure not to puncture the seat with pins, needles or any other sharp object, as this may damage the heating element and cause it to overheat.

An overheated heated seat can cause serious injury.

Note: Make sure not to:

  • place heavy objects on the seat;
  • use the heated seat if water or any other liquid has been spilled on it; allow the seat to dry completely first;
  • use the heated seats when the engine is not running; this may discharge the battery.
