ACC Automatically Turns Off
In this manual: Driving and Operation
~1min read
ACC may turn off automatically and the driver will need to manually apply the brakes to slow the vehicle if:
- The front camera is blocked or visibility is reduced.
- The Traction Control System (TCS) or StabiliTrak/ESC system has been activated or turned off.
- There is a system malfunction.
- A DIC message is displayed to indicate that ACC is temporarily unavailable.
The ACC indicator will turn white when ACC is no longer active.
In some cases, when ACC is temporarily unavailable, conventional cruise control may be used. Refer to "Switching Between ACC and Conventional Cruise Control" in this section. Always consider driving conditions before using any cruise control system.
