Hill Descent Control Light

GMC Terrain. Hill Descent Control Light and Lane Keep Assist (LKA) Light

On vehicles with Hill Descent Control, this light comes on when the system is ready for use. When the light flashes, the system is active. See Hill Descent Control (HDC).

Lane Keep Assist (LKA) Light

GMC Terrain. Hill Descent Control Light and Lane Keep Assist (LKA) Light

If equipped, this light displays green when LKA is available to provide assistance.

LKA may assist by gently steering the vehicle when it approaches a detected lane marking without using the turn signal in that direction. The LKA light will display amber.

This light displays amber and flashes as a Lane Departure Warning (LDW) alert to indicate that a lane marking has been crossed.
