Operation of the Function
Warning and Control Function
The Intelligent Speed Limit Assist will warn and control the vehicle by "displaying the speed limit", "Speed Limit Warning" and "Changing the set speed".
Information
The warning and control functions are described based on the offset set to "0". For more information on offset setting, refer to "System Settings".

Speed limit information is shown on the instrument cluster.
Information
- The Intelligent Speed Limit Assist provides additional road sign information in addition to the speed limit. The additional road sign information provided may vary depending on your country.
- The additional sign displayed under the speed limit or no-passing sign indicates the conditions under which the signs must be observed. If an additional sign is not recognized, it will be displayed blank.

When driving above the displayed speed limit, the red speed limit indicator will flash.
Changing the Set Speed

If the speed limit on the road changes while Speed Limit Assist or Smart Cruise Control is operating, an up or down arrow is displayed to inform the driver that the set speed needs to be changed. At this time, the driver can change the set speed to match the speed limit using the + or – switches on the steering wheel.
WARNING
- If the offset is set above "0", the vehicle will change to a higher speed than the speed limit on the road. If you want to drive below the speed limit, set the offset below "0" or use the – switch on the steering wheel to reduce the set speed.
- Even after the set speed is changed according to the speed limit of the road, the vehicle may still be driving over the speed limit. If necessary, press the brake pedal to reduce your driving speed.
- If the speed limit on the road is below 30 km/h, the set speed change function does not operate.
- The Intelligent Speed Limit Assist operates using the speed unit set in the instrument cluster by the driver. If the speed unit is set to a different unit than the speed unit used in your country, the Intelligent Speed Limit Assist may not operate correctly.
Information
For more information on the operation of the Smart Cruise Control function, refer to "Cruise Control (SCC)" in Chapter 7.
