After the vehicle has stopped, when an approaching vehicle from behind is detected, the Safe Exit Warning will alert the driver with a warning message and an audible warning when a passenger opens the door, helping to prevent a collision.

CAUTION

The warning timing may vary depending on the speed of the approaching vehicle.

Detection Sensor

Rear corner radars are sensors located inside the rear bumper to help detect side and rear areas. Always keep the rear bumper clean for proper operation of the Safe Exit Warning.
