Speed Limit
With the engine running, select or deselect "Driver Assistance → Speed Limit" from the settings menu to set whether each feature will be used.
- If Speed Limit Assist is selected, the system will inform the driver of the speed limit and additional road signs. In addition, the system will inform the driver to change the set speed manually. The Speed Limit Assist and/or Smart Cruise Control system helps the driver stay within the speed limit.
- If Speed Limit Warning is selected, the system will inform the driver of the speed limit and additional road signs. In addition, the system will warn the driver when the vehicle is driving faster than the speed limit.
- If Off is selected, the system will be turned off.
CAUTION
If Speed Limit Warning is selected, the system will not inform the driver to adjust the set speed.
Speed Limit Offset
With the engine running, when Driver Assistance → Speed Limit → Speed Limit Offset is selected, the speed limit offset can be changed. The Speed Limit Warning and Speed Limit Assist system will operate by applying the speed limit offset setting to the detected speed limit.
WARNING
- For safety, change the settings after parking the vehicle in a safe location.
- The Speed Limit Assist function operates based on the added offset setting to the speed limit. If you want to change the set speed to match the speed limit, set the offset to "0".
- The Speed Limit Warning function warns the driver when the driving speed exceeds the speed limit plus the offset setting. If you want the Speed Limit Warning to alert you immediately when the driving speed exceeds the speed limit, set the offset to "0".
