Front Wheel Hub and Steering Knuckle - Installation, Disassembly

1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

1. Tighten the threaded connections of the parts listed below to the specified torque:

2. Before installing the drive shaft nut, install the washer with the convex side facing outward, as shown in the illustration.

DISASSEMBLY

1. Remove the two brake disc mounting bolts, then remove the brake disc from the wheel hub.

2. Remove the hub bearing snap ring.

3. Install the special service tool on the wheel hub, as shown in the illustration.

4. Turn the special service tool to remove the wheel hub from the steering knuckle.

5. Remove the special service tool and the dust cover.

6. Using the special service tool, remove the inner bearing race from the wheel hub.

7. Using the special service tools (09495-33100 and 09517-29000), remove the outer bearing race from the steering knuckle.
