Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT
1. If the engine is cold, warm it up to normal operating temperature.
2. Turn the engine off.
3. Remove the oil filler cap and loosen the oil pan drain plug. Drain the engine oil.
4. Install the drain plug and tighten it to the specified torque.
Oil Pan Drain Plug Torque: 35 – 45 N·m

Always install a new drain plug gasket each time the drain plug is tightened.
5. Fill the engine with fresh engine oil through the oil filler opening.
Do not fill the engine with engine oil above the maximum level. This will cause oil aeration (foaming) and reduce oil pressure.
6. Install the oil filler cap.
7. Start the engine and let it run.
8. Turn the engine off and check the engine oil level. Add oil if necessary.

OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT
1. Using the oil filter wrench, remove the engine oil filter.
2. Before installing the new filter on the engine, apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the filter gasket.
3. Tighten the oil filter to the specified torque.
Oil Filter Torque: 12 – 16 N·m 4. Start the engine, let it run and check for engine oil leaks.
5. Turn the engine off and check the engine oil level. Add oil if necessary.
