Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the emergency pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Emergency Pad Lower Panel")
  3. Remove the lower hazard switch assembly (A) by disconnecting the mounting clip.
  4. Disconnect the dimmer switch connector (A).
  5. Check the voltage of the new rheostat switch. If the lamp brightness changes smoothly without flickering when the rheostat is turned, the rheostat is normal.
