Removal

  1. Open the sunshade by pressing the sunroof switch.
    • Leave 10 ~ 20 cm (0.3937 ~ 0.7874 in.) of the sunshade unopened.
  2. Remove the headliner. (Refer to Headliner - "Headliner Assembly")
  3. Remove the sunshade bar by inserting a flat-head screwdriver between the top of the front sunshade shoe (A) and the sunshade rod (B).
  4. Loosen the TORX mounting screws and remove the sunshade bracket (A).
  5. Remove the sunshade (B) from the slot (A) on the sunshade bracket side.

Installation

  1. Install the side sunshade bracket (A) into the guide groove (B). Insert the sunshade (A) into the slot (B) on the sunshade bracket side.
  2. Tighten the TORX mounting screws after installing the sunshade bracket (A).
  3. Install the sunshade rod (A) over the sunshade shoe (B).
  4. Insert the sunshade rod (A) into the sunshade shoe (B).
  5. Install the headliner.
  6. Fully close the sliding glass using the sunroof switch.
