Low Tire Pressure Warning Light
When the tire pressure monitoring system warning lights illuminate, it means that one or more tires have excessively low inflation pressure.
If one of the warning lights comes on, immediately reduce speed, avoid sharp turns and allow for longer stopping distances. Stop the vehicle and check the tires as soon as possible.
Inflate the tires to the correct pressure, as indicated on the vehicle certification label or the tire pressure label located on the driver's side center pillar.
If it is impossible to reach a service station or if the tire cannot hold the added air, replace it with the spare wheel.
Therefore, the low tire pressure warning light may flash for approximately one minute and then remain steadily on after restarting and approximately 20 minutes of continuous driving, until the low-pressure tire has been repaired or replaced.
NOTICE During the winter season, the low tire pressure warning light may illuminate if the tire pressure has been adjusted to the proper value for the warm season. This does not mean the TPMS is malfunctioning, because a drop in temperature causes a proportional decrease in tire pressure. If the vehicle is driven from a warm area to a cold one or vice versa, or if the outside temperature is very high or low, check the tire inflation pressure and adjust it to the correct value. WARNING - Low Pressure Damage Excessively low tire pressure makes the vehicle unstable, contributing to loss of control and longer braking distances. Continued driving on under-inflated tires will cause tires to overheat and become damaged.Test yourself
