Each time the key is inserted into the switch and turned to ON, the immobilizer checks the validity of the key.

If the key is valid, the engine starts.

If the key is not valid, the engine does not start.

To deactivate the immobilizer:

Insert the ignition key into the cylinder and turn it to ON.

To activate the immobilizer:

Turn the key to OFF. The immobilizer activates automatically. Without a correct ignition key, the vehicle will not start.
