Resetting the Sunroof

~1min read

When the vehicle battery is disconnected or discharged, or its fuse is blown, reset the sunroof as follows:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and fully close the sunroof.

2. Release the control button.

3. Push the sunroof control lever forward in the close direction (for more than 10 seconds) until the sunroof returns to its original tilt position after it has risen slightly above the maximum tilt position. Then, release the lever.

4. Push the sunroof control lever forward in the close direction until the sunroof operates as follows:

TILT DOWN → SLIDE OPEN → SLIDE CLOSE

Then, release the control button.

Once finished, the sunroof system is reset.

For more detailed information, we recommend contacting an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

NOTICE If the sunroof has not been reset when the vehicle battery is disconnected or discharged, or its fuse is blown, the sunroof may not operate properly.
