Towing service
If emergency towing is required, it is recommended to have it performed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer or a professional towing service. Lifting and towing procedures must be performed correctly to avoid damage to the vehicle. Using tow dollies or a flatbed truck is recommended.
For information on towing guidelines for trailers, refer to "Trailer Towing" in Section 5.
Towing the vehicle with the rear wheels on the ground (without dollies) and the front wheels lifted is permitted.
If one of the load-bearing wheels or a suspension component is damaged, or if the vehicle is towed with the front wheels on the ground, use a tow dolly under the front wheels.
When the vehicle is towed by a tow truck without dollies, always lift the front of the vehicle, not the rear.

When towing the vehicle in an emergency without tow dollies:
1. The ignition switch must be in the ACC position.
2. Place the shift lever in Neutral (N).
3. Release the parking brake.
NOTICE If the transmission is not in neutral, internal clutch damage may occur.
