Using the smart key

Type A

- To unfold the key, press the release button and the key will unfold automatically.

- To fold the key, fold it manually while holding down the release button.

NOTICE Do not fold the key without pressing the release button. The key may be damaged.

Type B

- To remove the mechanical key, press and hold the release button, then remove the mechanical key.

- To reinstall the mechanical key, insert the key into the slot and push it until you hear a click.

Locking (1)

1. Close all doors.

2. Press the LOCK button.

3. The hazard warning lights flash once to indicate that all doors are locked (the hood and the tailgate must be closed).

NOTE

The doors will not lock if any door is open.

Unlocking (2)

1. Press the UNLOCK button.

2. The hazard warning lights flash twice to indicate that all doors are unlocked.

Unlocking the tailgate (3)

1. Press and hold the tailgate unlock button for more than one second.

2. The hazard warning lights flash twice to indicate that the tailgate is unlocked.

NOTE

- After unlocking the tailgate, it will lock automatically unless it is opened within 30 seconds.

- Once the tailgate has been opened and then closed, it will lock automatically.

- The word "HOLD" is printed on the button to indicate that the button must be pressed and held down.
