Practical Features of Your Vehicle

Air Intake Control

~1min read

This button is used to select the outside (fresh) air position or the recirculated air position.

Recirculated Air Position

The indicator on the button lights up when recirculation mode is selected. When the recirculation position is selected, air inside the vehicle is drawn into the heating/cooling system, and then heated or cooled depending on the selected function.

Outside (Fresh) Air Position

The indicator on the button does not light up when the outside air (fresh) position is selected. When the outside air (fresh) position is selected, outside air enters the vehicle and is heated or cooled according to the selected function.

Intelligent

Using the air conditioner in recirculation mode for a long time will cause the air in the vehicle to feel dry.

WARNING

  • Continuous operation of the air conditioner in the recirculated air position may cause drowsiness and therefore loss of vehicle control, resulting in an accident. Set the air intake control to the outside (fresh) air position as much as possible while driving.
  • Continuous operation of the air conditioner in recirculated air mode (with A/C off) may cause humidity inside the vehicle to increase, which may fog the windows and obstruct your visibility.
  • Do not sleep in the vehicle with the air conditioner or heater running. You may suffer serious injury, even life-threatening injury, caused by a drop in oxygen level and/or body temperature.
