The temperature increases to maximum (HI) when the dial is turned clockwise.

The temperature decreases to minimum (LO) when the dial is turned counterclockwise.

Each time you turn the dial, the temperature increases or decreases in 0.5°C steps.

When the temperature control is set to minimum, the system operates continuously.
