Rear Parking Assist System Operation

Operating Conditions

• This system is activated when reversing with the engine running.
• The reverse activation distance is approximately 120 cm (47 in) when driving in reverse at a speed below 10 km/h.
• If more than two objects are detected simultaneously, the farthest object close to the vehicle will be detected first.

Types of Warning and Sound Indicators

NOTICE

• If an object is between the sensors or close to the sensor, the indicator display may differ from the one shown above.
• Do not wash the vehicle sensor with high-pressure water.
• If more than one of the following situations occurs when shifting to R (reverse) and the vehicle is stopped, this may indicate a malfunction of the Parking Assist System.
• You do not hear the warning sound, or it sounds intermittently.
