The parking assist system sounds an audible warning when it detects an obstacle located up to 100 cm (39 in.) in front of and 120 cm (47 in.) behind the vehicle.

This system is a supplementary system that only detects objects within the detection area and close to the sensors. It cannot detect objects in areas where sensors are not installed.

WARNING

• ALWAYS perform a visual check to make sure nothing is blocking the vehicle before moving in any direction to avoid a collision.
• Always use extreme caution when driving near objects on the road, especially pedestrians and, in particular, children.
• Some objects may not be visible on the screen and may not be detected by the sensors due to the distance between the object and the vehicle, the size of the object, or material on the sensor. All of these factors may limit the effectiveness of the sensors.
