Sliding Sunroof

Briefly press the sunroof control lever rearward or forward to the second detent position to fully open or close the sunroof even after the switch is released. To stop the sunroof at a desired position during operation, press the sunroof control lever rearward or forward and release the switch.

Information

To minimize wind noise while driving, it is recommended to keep the sunroof slightly closed (stop the sunroof approximately 3 inches (7 cm) before the maximum open position).

Automatic Reverse

If the sunroof detects an obstacle during automatic closing, it will reverse direction and then stop so the object can be cleared.

The auto reverse function does not operate if an object is caught between the sliding glass and the sunroof frame.

Always check that all passengers and objects are clear of the sunroof before closing it.

WARNING

Small objects that may get caught between the sunroof glass and the front of the glass channel may not be detected by the auto reverse system. In this case, the sunroof glass will not detect the object and will not change direction.
