Bulbs
Contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer to replace most vehicle light bulbs. Replacing vehicle light bulbs is difficult because other parts of the vehicle must be removed before you can reach the bulb. This is especially true for removing the headlamp assembly to reach the bulb(s).
Removing/installing the headlamp assembly may cause damage to the vehicle.
WARNING
Before working on the lights, firmly apply the parking brake, make sure the ignition switch is in the LOCK/OFF position, and turn off the lights to avoid sudden vehicle movement, burns to your fingers, or electric shock.
NOTICE
Always replace a burned-out bulb with one of the same rating. Otherwise, the fuse or wiring system may be damaged.
Information
After heavy rain or car washing, condensation may appear on the inside of the headlamp and tail lamp lenses. This condition is caused by the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the lamp. It is similar to condensation on your windows at home during rain and does not indicate a vehicle malfunction. If water leaks into the bulb housing, we recommend that the system be inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Information
Headlight aim should be adjusted after an accident or after the headlight assembly is reinstalled at an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Information - Changing Traffic Direction (for Europe)
The low beam light distribution is asymmetrical. If you drive to a country with opposite traffic direction, this asymmetrical design will dazzle drivers of oncoming vehicles. To prevent glare, ECE regulations require several technical solutions (for example, an automatic switching system or an adhesive sheet directed downward). These headlamps are not designed to dazzle oncoming drivers. Therefore, you do not need to change the headlamps when driving in a country with opposite traffic direction.
