Parking Brake Inspection

Check the parking brake travel by counting the number of audible "clicks" while fully applying it from the released position. Also, the parking brake alone must hold the vehicle securely on a sufficiently steep slope. If the travel is more or less than specified, we recommend having the system serviced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

Travel: 5 to 7 "clicks" at a force of 20 kg (44 lb, 196 N).
