Maintenance

~1min read

You must exercise extreme care to prevent damage to your vehicle and injury to yourself when performing any maintenance or inspection procedures.

We recommend that your vehicle be serviced and repaired at an authorized HYUNDAI dealer. Authorized HYUNDAI dealers meet HYUNDAI's high standards of service and receive technical support from HYUNDAI to provide you with a high level of customer satisfaction.

Owner Responsibility

Maintenance and record keeping are the owner's responsibility.

You should keep documents that show proper maintenance of your vehicle according to the scheduled maintenance intervals listed on the following pages. This information is necessary to confirm that your vehicle meets the maintenance and service requirements of the vehicle warranty.

For detailed warranty information, refer to the Service Booklet.

Repairs and adjustments required as a result of improper maintenance or failure to perform required maintenance are not covered.

Owner Maintenance Precautions

Inadequate, incomplete, or insufficient maintenance may result in problems with your vehicle, which may lead to vehicle damage, an accident, or personal injury. This chapter provides instructions only for maintenance items that are easy to perform.

Some procedures can only be performed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer with special tools.

Your vehicle must never be modified. Such modifications may adversely affect the performance, safety, or durability of your vehicle and may also void the limited vehicle warranty.

NOTICE

Improper maintenance performed by the owner during the warranty period may affect warranty coverage. For more information, refer to the separate Service Booklet supplied with the vehicle. If you are not sure of any maintenance or service procedure, we recommend that the system be serviced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
