- The Parking Distance Warning (Reverse/Forward) system may sound inconsistently depending on the speed and shape of detected objects.
- The Parking Distance Warning (Reverse/Forward) system may malfunction if the vehicle bumper height or sensor installation has been changed or damaged. Any non-factory equipment or accessories installed may also interfere with sensor performance.
- The sensors may not detect objects within 30 cm (11 in.) of the sensor, or may display an incorrect distance. Use caution.
- If the sensor is frozen or covered with snow, mud, or water, it may not operate until the contamination is removed with a soft cloth.
- Do not press, scratch, or strike the sensor. Damage to the sensor may occur.
- Do not spray the sensors or the surrounding areas directly with a high-pressure washer. The impact of high-pressure water may damage the sensors and prevent them from operating normally.
