Power Windows

(1) Driver's door power window switch
(2) Front passenger door power window switch
(3) Rear door (left) power window switch*
(4) Rear door (right) power window switch*
(5) Window open and close
(6) Automatic window*
(7) Power window lock switch
The ignition switch must be in the ON position to raise or lower the windows. Each door has a power window switch to control the window of that door. The driver's door has a power window lock switch that can disable the passenger window switches. The power windows will operate for approximately 30 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to the ACC or OFF position. However, if either front door is opened, the power windows cannot be operated even within the 30-second period.
WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death, do not put your head, hands, or body outside the window while the vehicle is moving.
Information
- In cold and humid climates, power windows may not operate properly due to freezing conditions.
- While driving with the rear windows lowered or the sunroof (if equipped) open (or partially open), your vehicle may exhibit wind buffeting or a pulsating noise. This noise is normal and can be reduced or eliminated by performing the following. If the noise occurs with one or both rear windows lowered, partially lower both front windows about 2.5 cm (1 in). If you feel the noise with the sunroof open, slightly close the sunroof.
