Description

  • The Supplemental Restraint System Control Module (SRSCM) determines if and when to deploy the airbag modules, the seat belt pretensioners (BPT), and the Emergency Fastening Device (EFD).
  • It supplies the power to the airbag modules needed to deploy the modules or BPT and EFD.
  • It also performs the self-diagnosis function of the supplemental restraint system.
