The TPMS malfunction indicator illuminates after flashing for approximately one minute when there is a problem with the tire pressure monitoring system. If the system is able to correctly detect a low tire pressure warning while a system malfunction exists, the TPMS malfunction indicator will illuminate.
We recommend having the system checked by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
CAUTION
- The TPMS malfunction indicator may illuminate when the vehicle is driven near power transmission lines or radio transmitters, such as police stations, government and public facilities, radio stations, military installations, airports, or transmission towers, etc. This may interfere with the normal operation of the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
- The TPMS malfunction indicator may illuminate if snow chains or other aftermarket devices, such as laptops, mobile phone chargers, remote starters, navigation systems, etc., are used in the vehicle. This may interfere with the normal operation of the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
